CZESŁAW WIECZOREK - PAINTING

Retrospective exhibition of painting by Czesław Wieczorek, an artist who has developed a unique and recognizable style. His creative work is marked with an enormous sensitivity of experience.

The artist - uncouth and persistent in his refusal to be reconciled with reality - wishes to express his unrelenting anger. Although the visual aspect of his work is in a way reminiscent of the Early Orthodox icon, its contents, consisting of allegorical and apocalyptical messages are completely different.
The exhibition contains several dozen paintings by the artist, the oldest of which, Frozen Time, dates back to 1965.

The exhibition is open from 6 January to 12 February 2012.

Minął termin nadsyłania filmów do 4. Edycji Festiwalu Short Waves. Jednakże... w związku z wyjątkowo elastycznym podejściem do pojęcia czasu, nie będziemy bardzo restrykcyjnie traktować tej daty. Dlatego proszę nie martwić się takimi drobiazgami, jak dzień lub dwa zwłoki - czymże to jest wobec wieku wszechświata? Zatem czekamy na filmy do 8 lutego 2012. Później już nie czekamy.
Wszystko wskazuje na to, że czas i tak wkrótce będzie zredefiniowany. Za przedłużenie terminu naboru proszę więc dziękować neutrinom.

Strabag Artaward jest to konkurs skierowany do artystów do 40 roku życia, tworzących w dziedzinie malarstwa i rysunku. W latach 2012-2014 do udziału w nim będą zapraszani twórcy pochodzący z takich krajów jak: Polska, Austria, Rumunia i Rosja.
