Beata Tarnawa, bez tytułu

"Beata Tarnawa's paintings are like fairy tales; colourful stories with profound messages, a world in which fauna and flora coexist with humans. The artist personifies Mother Earth, which gives life and embraces all existence with its breath. You could call it religious painting were it not for the attributes which are slightly different from those encoded in the history of art. Similarly to religious art, these cheerful images of charming animals are intended to invoke good emotions, sensitize the viewer to the beauty and harmony of nature, and give us strength to protect the natural world.

Beata purposefully uses simple symbols and pure colours. These luminous watercolour compositions are most usually used as posters or covers of publications by the Gaia Club - an organization fighting the stupidity, greed and thoughtlessness of all those who treat animals, trees and rivers solely as a source of income. These paintings are like banners carried by those who oppose such attitudes".
