This exhibition of stage scenery used by the Puppet Theatre "Banialuka" accompanies the 26th International Festival of Puppetry Arts (21-25 May 2014). On display are art forms and costumes from productions performed over the last decade in "Banialuka."

The puppet theatre in Bielsko-Biała has always placed a special emphasis on the visual side of the shows and its artists, characterised by strong and charismatic personalities, are famed for their ability to create their own distinct worlds. Their puppets, props, decorations, costumes are still alive in the performances held today.

The exhibition features a collection of works by a number of well-known artists from Poland and abroad who have contributed to the shaping of the aesthetics dimension of the puppet theatre today. They are: Joanna Braun, Danuta Kierc, Zofia de Ines, Eva Farkasova, Julia Skuratova, Aleksander A. Łabiniec, Mikołaj Malesza, Aleksander Maksymiak, Pavol Andrasko, Pavel Hubicka.
