Exhibition showing the oeuvre of Ewa Ciepielewska, one of the founders of the famous Wrocław-based Luxus Group (1980). The artist creates oil, acrylic and watercolour paintings which draw on such trends as camp aesthetics, pop art, trans-avantgarde, and magical realism.

Ewa Ciepielewska was born in 1960 in Wałbrzych, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, obtained a degree in Painting under Professor Konrad Jarodzki in 1984, and a minor in Visual Sciences under Professor Leszek Kaćma; co-founder of LUXUS Group (1980), with which she has held dozens of joint exhibitions and artistic actions; co-author of the magazine LUXUS and other publications of the group; co-author of the artistic project VOLANS Contemporary Art in 1000 Pieces, aimed supporting Polish art (since 1997).
Numerous group and solo exhibitions, both at home and abroad, plein-air events, social happenings and outdoor murals. The artist cooperates with environmental organizations and educational centres, and co-organises exhibitions and events associated with the Lunar New Year, which she has been engaged in since the 1980s. Every May since 2008 she has been getting on a wooden boat to sail in the Royal Vistula Regatta from Kraków to Gdańsk. The journey also serves her as an excuse for the Flowing Festival of Art which she co-authors. Her artistic pursuits include oil paintings, acrylic and watercolour paintings. Her style meanders from pop art, trans-avantgarde, magical realism and camp aesthetics.
