For me, art is first and foremost about wrestling with matter and crossing its boundaries. I use my canvas and paints to jettison the subjectivity of my work, and thus create a phenomenon occurring in the space between the painting and the viewer.

I use different hues of a colour whose changing temperature makes the painting surface appear to pulsate and create a additional space of sorts, that exceeds beyond the painting, beyond the material domain.

I start with a geometric drawing, and then use colour to break the original structure. While painting, I enter the spaces which I can't define rationally; I'm guided by feelings and intuition. The process of creation is about removing the veil, in order to discover the original archetypal painting. The aim is to express superreality, which can't be copied in any way. Each of my spatial objects is invariably based on a geometric drawing. Reality viewed through the transparent film of the drawings plays the same role as the colour in paintings. It changes, superimposes itself on the drawing, and gives the geometric form an ephemeral volatility, transience, and oblique nature.
